Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavement (CRCP) type rigid concrete pavement in the form of high-strength precast panels made in a precast factory, each panel reinforced with prestressed cables. Between panels are connected with special dowels that are more flexible called dowel activators so that they can function to distribute (dissipate) the vehicle load to the body of the panel.
